Emilia Pierce is an international human rights lawyer and has been involved in crisis response, emergency humanitarian aid, and noncombatant evacuation in Afghanistan since the Summer of 2021.

Emilia's current work includes implementing programs monitoring human rights violations, strengthening rule of law, and combating corruption across the MIddle East and North Africa as well as providing nonprofit board governance and support work. Previously, she has lived in Cambodia, Uganda, Nigeria, Kuwait, and Afghanistan and worked both domestically and internationally on law, policy, and advocacy around the freedom of expression, freedom of assembly, land rights, gender-based violence, and post-conflict reintegration of child soldiers.

Emilia attended Georgetown University Law Center and is currently based in the DC area.
