Jessica Bradley Rushing is the Chief Communications Officer for #AfghanEvac, and formerly served as the Deputy Director for Communications and Engagement at the State Department’s Coordinator for Afghan Relocation Efforts (CARE). She began her journey with #AfghanEvac while serving as a veterans caseworker and district representative in the Office of Congressman Bill Keating (MA09). She is a former elected municipal official, having served as the Chairwoman of the Select Board in Pembroke, Massachusetts.

She is a 2019 graduate of Emerge Massachusetts and a member of the Truman National Security Project Defense Council. Jessica has a BS in Communication from Boston University and is currently working toward a graduate degree in Public Leadership. She is an Army veteran and a mother of four. In what little spare time she has, she enjoys reading, traveling, yoga, and running.
